I’ve always been a fan of fairytales, mythology, and legends. Fables, yarns, whatever you want to call them, I really love a good tale.

My collection of fairytale books and movies is rather embarrassing for an adult, I guess, but I thoroughly enjoy them all.

These stories can be beautiful and enchanting, or dark and terrifying. Sometimes they teach us important lessons, and sometimes they leave us bewildered and laughing. Some of them are relatable no matter how many hundreds of years have passed since they were first told, and some are utter nonsense.

I try to capture the magic and darkness, beauty and horror, of every tale that I love. I still have a long list to work through, but I’m getting there one painting at a time.
