Autumn is my favorite time of year by far. Maybe I’m a bit partial to it because my birthday falls in the middle of November, or because the bugs finally die, or maybe it’s to do with pumpkin pie. Either way, there’s a magic in the air when the leaves and the mornings are crisp and the days are growing shorter.

It’s tough for me to decide if Halloween or Yule is my favorite, but it doesn’t matter because they are so close together. Both inspire me endlessly to paint things that are magical, enchanting, and a little bit silly sometimes.
